It made an extremely complex idea easy to understand. I really appreciated that about the book. The one suprise I found was the multiple mentions of Benoit Mandelbrot, mathematician and my own personal hero. He warned that reality is not easily predicatble.

If you want insight into what happened to our economy, this is a great book to pick up. Two thumbs up from me.

Microbes outnumber our human cells by ten to one.  It makes me start to wonder, are human bodies just hosts for colonies of microbes?  Are the emerging complexities of microbiota what we call consciousness? Am I really me?
